Here I am working on a painting again! It's from a show that is coming to the Stratford Festival this year, and I'm hoping it will be on show at Agora Gallery Stratford for the opening.......... fingers crossed! It's going to be a fantastic show 😉 Hope you like leather!

Very excited to share I've made it to the shortlist for the BBA Gallery show in Berlin, celebrating their 10 year anniversary. 🙂 I will be part of the show in May 🙂 The opening is May 22, my birthday, a good omen 😉

More progress on this painting. The show is coming to the @stratfest.bsky.social in Ontario this year and I hope this painting will be on show at Agora Gallery for the opening.......... fingers crossed! It's going to be an incredible show 😊

A small painting for a big show! Just 20x20 cm It is a small study for Sir Brian May's show costume he wore performing with Queen Designed by Zandra Rhodes Thanks Save Me Trust, Anne Brummer and Brian May for allowing me to paint this. A portion of the sale will be given to the trust 🙂

And here's yet another work-in-progress! Also from the Stratford Festival, this one is from a show that can be seen this year, and it should be a goodun! If you watch the trailers for the shows, you might guess which one🤔 This will be 60"x60", that's 152x152 cm.

It's World Theatre Day! My paintings of the House of Capulet and the House of Montague 🙂 Both are from costumes designed by the incredible Paul Tazewell, who's just won an Oscar! Romeo and Juliet, the @stratfest Production when I was the Head of Scenic Art, directed by Des McAnuff.

Exactly 2 years ago I was working on my biggest costume painting so far. The Lion King 60"x96" 152x244 cm. Julie Taymor is the amazing designer of these costumes. Just found this photo of me trying to paint in the style of Kline, Franz Kline that is! It was for a sci-fi pilot that was never broadcast. Starring Matthew Goode called Roadside Picnic Directed by the brilliant Alan Taylor. And it was fun working with the production designer, Neil Spisak 🙂

One year ago this touring show started, with Fonds chorégraphique Fernand Nault, celebrating the life of Canada's famous choreographer. My painting alongside the costumes from Nault's ballet, Casse-Noisette, the Nutcracker. Performed each year in Montreal by Les Grands Ballets Canadiens.
