This is the twin sister, oil on canvas but I can do better, so soon I will work on it some more.

Back from holiday and I thought I like to start with one of my favourite pictures. This girl is part of a twin. If you count the chains you will notice the extra chain for a swing behind her. I decide to only draw one as part of her sister showing looked odd. The background blurred for movement.

These pencil drawings are done on butchers paper i did some time ago. I have drawn since I was 6 yrs old but stopped for about 25 yrs when I was to busy with my building business. When I restarted I did these drawings often after work.

I was given this picture as a reference to paint by a Finland girl. I placed it in a beach / timber warf structure. Its from a photograph I took on the NSW south coast in Australia. The timber structure has featured in several of my art pieces.

Last year we visited Maurits house in The Hague in the Netherlands and part of the collection is Vermeer's " girl with the pearl earring" 1665. We thought it would look good on our wall at home but they wouldn't let us have it. So I painted it myself
