Time flies when you’re having fun! It’s the last talk of today by Catarina Monteiro of Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal/University of Freiburg, Germany! Her topic is how phytochromes and PIFs are key players in rice development mediated by light and temperature #YRSPP2024

We will now listen to Laura Schmid from the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg in Germany! She will tell us about COR27 and COR28 acting as potential integrators of light and temperature, and associate with chromatin remodeling complexes ☀️🌡️ #YRSPP2024

The next speaker is Yuanke Liang from the University of Geneva in Switzerland! He will go away from Arabidopsis and crops for a bit to tell us about UV-B perception and signaling in the liverwort Marchantia polymorpha! #YRSPP2024

After a great lunch and poster session it’s time for talks again! Our next speaker is our young PI Martin Balcerowicz from the University of Dundee, UK. He will tell us a lovely story of COP1/SPA, PIFs and auxin #YRSPP2024

The final talk in our morning session, it’s Siddhant Shetty from the WUR in the Netherlands! He will enlighten us about whether the responses to Far-Red light enrichment in lettuce are a signal, or resource for growth? 🥬 #YRSPP2024
