The key to avoiding immigration detention while not on a valid visa in Australia seems to be not to get pulled over by the police for any petty reason. Get pulled over for speeding and the police do an identity check and discover you’re not on a valid visa - off to Villawood (or another IDC) you go.

Seeing Americans trying to insult their oligarchs by saying they can’t write emails does nothing to dispel the idea that this platform is full of people who act like they’re 12 years old.
