I went to a big aquarium today with my friend & I’d point out fish from across the room and go “oh look! A napoleon fish! Spotted garden eel! I’ve always wanted to see them! And that looks like a spider crab maybe??” and my friend would just say “Animal Crossing turned you into a zoologist?” YES! 🤣

My shorts were getting too big so I went to the store and found some SIX sizes “bigger” than the ones that were getting big and they fit perfectly. Make it make sense. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Forgot to update: I did go get the Build-A-Bear ghost kitty and I by far was not the only adult without a kid in the store, so that was nice. My cats love it.

Cute little butterfly from today. This one was very different to make, lots of string weaving, but I think it turned out cute.

I finally finished my beaded dragonfly! Usually these things take me about an hour or less, this one took several hours.. over several days. Far more difficult than I thought it’d be but I love the finished result. The different colored wings are so cute!

I haven’t made a Build-A-Bear since elementary school, but I just may have to go get the purple ghost kitty. So cute!!

Today I rode the first ever single-rail rollercoaster in the WORLD and hated every second. It beats up your ankles. And the whole ride lasted about 25 seconds. I counted. Back to the drawing board with your noodle track.

When I was about 5 years old I got this beaded animals craft kit as a gift. Well, I was too little to do it at that age, I tried and failed (RIP Flora the Flower and a mystery missing animal.) I recently found it again and I’m finally giving it another go in my 30’s. Today I made Skye the bear.

Happy National Kitten Day! I LOVE my kitten Stellaluna so much. I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter one. As a millennial I do not claim “millennial gray.” Everything was a million colors when I was a kid and I couldn’t wait to have my own million color house when I grew up. Happy to say I’m still on that track.

Today I went kayaking for the first time! Easier than I expected and I’ll definitely do it again!

My distant relative just got 2nd place on American Idol! I’ve never met him but we are technically related. So that’s pretty cool.

Me to my friend before I ordered this: “I want any straw color but green.” Little did I know it changes to blue! So fun! And in my opinion the slush is 10/10 delicious. I will definitely be getting another.

One of my best friend’s band, Ashtray for Aliens, dropped a song with the band Eyes Set to Kill today and I think that’s pretty awesome and you should check it out if that type of music is your thing. 🎵

I’ve loved Pokémon since I was a kid, I still play the video games. Of course I had to get Pallet Town. It’s so perfect! It’s every color I didn’t have before but wish I did. Win/win.

Just finished this coloring page. It’s the first coloring page I’ve completed in… possibly ever. Trying new markers and techniques. My wood grain could be better but overall I’m happy with it. I love the window part.

I just hung this shelf by only eyeballing it. When I was happy with it THEN I got the level to just check my work. Boom. Perfect. My roommate thinks I’m crazy when I say things are slightly crooked but I can tell!!
