Last weekend, I conducted my first ever TNVR (Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return) project for feral community cats in my area. I was able to trap and fix three cats, one of which would have delivered three feral kittens that would have either suffered and died young or gone on to breed more. #TNVR works!

New addition to my #BattleJacket. I've been really into The Decemberists lately. Also been enjoying @colinmeloy.bsky.social's children's book series, Wildwood. Wish it had been around when I was a kid. I grew up next to a nature preserve, I imagine I would have "visited" Wildwood frequently.

The gooberly tabby in this picture is our latest foster fail, Churu. This has become a three cat household. honestly adopted her mostly for the benefit of Dovah (the white cat), but as you can see Churu is hilarious and a joy to have around for us humans, too.

Dovah is usually very polite around food, but she will beg for two things- spinach and ice cream (not together, of course, though I imagine she would go absolutely bonkers for spinach ice cream) She did get a dressing free spinach leaf btw! Spinach is safe and good for kitties. Dovah gives it 10/10

I finished making Dovah's new woven coil basket bed! The cushion has a layer of heat reflecting Insul-Bright so it will be self warming when she lays on it! I used 10mm jute macrame cord and super thick plush yarn to make this, and it was such a fun and surprisingly easy project! Took about 6 hours.

I'm making Dovah a new basket cat bed that fits her abundancy better, so her cousins received the first basket experiment as their Catmas present. 😻 They love it! Dovah is already loving her bed in progress:
