A new addition to the hoard <3

My apologies for the depressing posts, but this year has NOT been kind to me regarding back-to-back life changing moments that derailed pretty much the entire year. Not thrilled I have to move on top of the hospital bills, hoping once the dust is settled I can be stable again.

Happy #InternationalDayOfLatex! Sadly, I have yet to take a proper fursuit photo set with the new latex bodysuit I bought in May (been too busy getting ready for the upcoming move), but enjoy some of my favorites from the past!

Feeling awful about it, but reached a point where now I’m begging for help with my medical bills on Facebook after realizing how expensive it’ll be just to move one town over. Living in America feels like I have a gun to my head and unless I keep paying money, I’m dead.

Got to socialize an hour at the nearby Furry Pinball meetup before work tonight. Glad Willow talked me into going; it was good to see a lot of familiar faces, including some that showed up early just to see me ;3; <3

One of the roommate’s dogs I’ve known for a few years has been sent out for adoption following an attack on one of the cats. Can’t blame her behavior, her owner abandoned her here a few months ago as it is. With pet rent these days…I couldn’t take her in either. Sucks, man.

Duuuudddeeeee, you can add 10 photos to each post now? Sweating on how to break up the pictures on the San Francisco trip, but this will let me GREATLY condense posts while showcasing more photos. Downside? I have to re-edit the format a bit, but hoping I can finally get these posted soon ;3;

Finally catching up with both PlayStation and Xbox’s game conferences from the last few days. For the first time in a good while, I’m actually quite excited about a decent amount of titles coming out. Way too many games to list that are on my radar now ^^

Going from a month of travel back-to-back to suddenly going into “savings mode” for the upcoming move is one hell of a whiplash. Glad to be moving into a furry household tho, it’s been weird to not be able to host or do much at all in my own space living at my current abode.

Who knew that eating raw oysters followed by Taco Bell would not be an award-winning combination as previously thought last night? Recovering from my own stupidity now that I’m home, but had a fantastic weekend at Denver Fan Expo! Pics coming soon, got a few errands to run 1st.

It’s not often I get to meet celebrities in fursuit, but Willow invited me to be a part of their photo with Matthew Lillard yesterday! #DenverFanExpo has been chaotic, but fun, about to start Day 3!

Last major trip until DenFur, but I’m staying in downtown Denver the next 4 nights for Denver Fan Expo! Excited to geek out with the other nerds in CO this weekend, also about to see The Backrooms here momentarily, didn’t realize it just came out today :3

#DenverSkaFest2026 Dance Hall Crashers; Finale: 1st time listener, the pit kept thriving and even I couldn’t stop myself from dancing at the higher-energy singles. Fantastic finisher of a well curated sampling of ska from across the board, already looking forward to next year’s lineup! 1/2

Went out with @radiohusky.us to Estes Park today and was treated to the last(?) snowfall of the season. Wonderful to see the elk out and about, also nice to get some time in the Rockies before the summer crowds hit the area. Estes Park May 19th 📸 🧵#1

Trying to figure out what to wear overall for Denver Ska Fest tonight (Dance Hall Crashers, The Aquabats!, Five Iron Frenzy, The Potato Pirates), but I can’t think of a better time to break out the Mario Kart Pit Crew jacket I got at Nintendo’s San Fransisco store ^^

Last night of work before a few days off. Still struggling with depression, but what else is new? Looking forward to having some time off to clear my head a bit.

I’ll admit I’m not doing well mentally lately, reality + ongoing depression issues whiplashed me hard when I returned. I’m ok, trying to get my balance back w/ overnight shift, sudden cat-sitting commitments, & looking for a new place to live. Hopefully post-move I’ll be 100% again.

Wild to edit videos in high fidelity on a tablet, last time I did any video editing at all was back in 2010. The landscape has changed quite a bit, but playing w/ DaVinci Resolve vs Final Cut Pro while I run around the house unpacking and getting ready for work tonight ;3;

Made it back home, just waiting for my ride at Union Station. Snow is dumping down & it couldn’t be a more appropriate “welcome back to Colorado” moment. Can’t wait to share the journey with y’all, still have a backlog of stuff I need to process. It’s good to be back tho <3

San Fransisco was an incredible experience, my apologies for being afk here the whole time but I’ve got plenty of photos and videos to process before sharing with the world. About to make the return trip home, it certainly won’t be another 17 years until my next visit <3

Riding through my old stomping grounds from 17+ years ago feels surreal. The GSR in Reno, Lake Tahoe wilderness, crossing the Sierra Nevada mountain range as we make our way to Sacramento where I spent 2 summers in my youth, etc. What a trip, & I’m not even in the Bay Area yet!

Crazy to think in just 17 hours I’ll be starting my journey to San Francisco by rail. Still have a LOT to do to prepare and pack, but surviving tonight’s shift while not passing out until I board the train is the real challenge ahead. With me luck x3

Being single in a country that requires a double or triple income household to even feel financially stable is brutal. No wonder the only folks I see getting homes are in relationships, the financial goalposts feel so far out of reach otherwise…

My roommate and I have been slowly amassing a hoard of Fallout soda from Jones over the last month or two. Jones makes a great sarsaparilla and New Vegas is one of my favorite games of all time. Saving it for a rainy day…or Season 3 whenever that drops ^^

Hiked nearby Coyote Ridge Trail the other day in a vain attempt to make it to Devil’s Backbone out in the sticks (due to time), but just about when I had to turn around, I ran into a herd of deer. While it was tricky to get shots of the group, a curious onlooker was quite the photogenic one 🦌📸🐺

After a few years of non-stop use, my worn Blizzacks needed to be retired. While I know it’s terrible to ride on winter tires over several summers, I’ve now corrected that by getting VREDESTEIN QUATRAC PRO+ XL all-weather tires today for the WRX. Feels like a new car again!

Was out in Denver for a much needed escape from work, but back to the grind tonight. Estes tomorrow w/ a friend of mine who just moved to the area, then I’m planning on updating all my social media w/ pics from the last few weeks on Monday. Sorry for the delay, been a busy month to say the least.

Just found out my co-worker’s wife gave birth to his kid today (congratulations, tho!). He’s on paternal leave for a month at least. We’re already a skeleton crew turned into just two guys. My apologies if I’m afk a bit this month, depending on the severity of the workload 💻💀

Have a few event posts in the works, but the ongoing drama at home has had me at a standstill for a while. After tearing into the problem directly, the individual in question is finally getting help & I can move on from being the mediator. Sorry yall, it’s been stressful lately.

Well, looks like I’m taking a stab at ProRes filming after all: Found a cheap 1TB MagSafe SSD that met the requirements to record up to ProRes LOG format, and with the upcoming San Fransisco trip, I can’t think of a better time to put the iPhone 17 Pro Max the test.

60k+ mile tune up on the WRX is FINALLY complete. Fun watching my car “vape” for the first time when we blasted the carbon off the valves with chemicals. Spark plug + oil change replacement went well! Eternally grateful for my mechanic friends helping me out on this :3

Heard real-life baby alligator noises and had to do an animation.

Reduced my $4k+ hospital bill SIGNIFICANTLY via the hospital’s charity program, saved up enough to get the remaining parts to finish maintenance on the WRX (working on it tonight), AND got rent covered. Busting ass this week paid off, wild how expensive everything is now :/

I went to an anime convention today and came back with a sacred cultural artifact from my youth. Thrilled to finally own this series on Blu-ray ^^

Seeing Squirrel Nut Zippers at the Stanley Hotel last night was an incredible experience. Haven’t swing danced in over a decade, paired excellent with an old fashioned & an overly energetic crowd. Shame I couldn’t make their second set this evening, eager for more 🎶 🥃 🐺

Last night of the work week, then taking a few days for myself after getting through all the chaos at home. Spending most of Friday in Estes Park deep in the mountains to draw, hang out with the elk, & see Squirrel Nut Zippers for the 1st time at the Stanley Hotel 🪕🎻🎺🥁👻🐺

Had a ROUGH week, so going hard on this glorious St. Patrick’s Day. 5 pints of Guinness with the traditional Dropkick Murphys + Flogging Molly throughout the day, I feel the spirit of dear St. Patrick flowing through me brighter than the chlorophyll on a four leaf clover 🍺🐺🇮🇪

In just a few days, due to the actions of my roommate’s dad, I’m left in shock as a company I was helping build with him from the ground up is now possibly non-existent because of his arrest. Actions have consequences, be mindful of who you’re hurting when you act on emotions.

Not sure if I’ll need to move, but listening to my roommate’s parents constantly fight upstairs has drained what little happiness I feel at home. Wish I didn’t have to have roommates, but that’s the world I live in. I would give up quite a bit for the opportunity to live alone…

Sometimes folks unload stuff so heavy it really messes with me. Sad thing is, it’s completely out of my control, and it sucks to know I can’t help. And folks wonder why I’m becoming more of a recluse…it’s hard to keep losing folks in my life & I’m terrified this’ll happen again

Forgot I promised my roommate’s parents that I’d not only be watching over their 7 pets while they’re gone for a week, but also working (a portion of) one of their day jobs…all while I’m working my main overnight gig. It’ll be good money, but dude…it’s going to be rough.
