For the first time in my gaming career, I have beaten a Ratchet and Clank game. Rift Apart is also the first game that I've beaten in 2025

Newest PS5 add. Wanted this on Switch but that version was unavailable. The new Dynasty Warriors was also nowhere to be found but I do want to try that one out at some point

Nintendo silently confirming a brand new Mario Kart for Switch 2 instead of simply doing another re-skin of Mario Kart 8 is a huge win in my opinion

Switch 2 is officially official now. No specific date yet other than 2025

However, there is precedent based on past history. The Switch 1 was revealed on October 20th, 2016 on the same day that Mario Party Star Rush released on the 3DS in Japan. So while a reveal this week is definitely possible, I'm not too optimistic. We'll see what happens, though. (2/2)

Hearing from podcast host NatheTheHate that the Switch successor is supposedly being revealed this week, specifically on Thursday the 16th. I personally don't think that makes sense because of Donkey Kong Country Returns HD coming out that day, but you never know with Nintendo these days lol (1/2)

As of about 8pm Eastern tonight, I have officially finished Brothership

I'm convinced one of EA's recent NHL 25 updates broke the game in some form because Franchise Mode keeps crashing now when this wasn't a problem the first month and a half or so of the cycle. Stop messing around with stuff, EA!

I swear Adaphne has a serious addiction problem with jellyfish pizza in Brothership

Here's my total playtime on Brothership thus far. There's been a few things that I found annoying (won't say specifically which ones for spoiler reasons), but for the most part, the game has definitely been enjoyable

Looks like Nintendo decided to give us NSO users some early Christmas gifts. First they add Donkey Kong Land 1 to the service a few days ago, and now they add the second one out of nowhere. Maybe this'll lead to DK64 being added. I mean, one can only hope

Pipegunk is the most annoying boss I've faced in Brothership so far

GaneStop up here in Canada started their Black Friday sales a bit early so I decided to snag these. Tbh, kind of glad I waited on Outlaws as long as I did since they have apparently taken forced stealth out of the game. As someone who hates stealth parts, this is very welcoming for me

I can pretty much guarantee that if the DLC for Elden Ring wins GOTY despite it merely being an add on to an already existing game, there's going to be a lot of angry gamers all over social media

Astro Bot got a total of 7 Game Awards nominations. Very impressive considering that it only released two months ago. Hopefully it wins at least one of its categories

My predictions for 2024 Game of the Year nominees: Metaphor Fantazio, FF7 Rebirth, Astro Bot (FTR, I have only played Astro Bot out of these three and it's such an awesome game. Don't really plan on playing Metaphor or Rebirth)

As awesome as Brothership is, I have one little suggestion for future Mario and Luigi titles, and this would greatly benefit series newcomers: Allow us to select a difficulty option upon starting a new game. I know the remake for Superstar Saga had that.

After spending around 8 hours in Brothership so far, I can confirm that it is NOT the 5 out of 10 that IGN gave it. For me, it's a perfect 10 out of 10
