As an economist who has worked on numerous transport projects, I deeply appreciate that one of the first downtime activities listed in the #DrawSteel #ttrpg is Build or Repair a Road. It says so much about what the game is and how it asks you to engage with the fantasy world.

This was the first of my self-guided #dnd date choose-your-own-adventures. Relatively simple, but I loved using the opportunity to make even the mundane places that you would never have the time to describe in-depth at the table seem drenched in life and a long-forgotten history.

Managing #roleplay for a dozen players was a bit of a handful, so I took to crafting these little text-based choose-your-own adventures. The players loved taking each other dates and mini-adventures, discovering titbits of lore I hid throughout, and writing fics to share with each other afterwards.

The Eight Queer Warlocks Who Dictate the Rules of Fashion were an important cast of NPCs in my Mura #dnd Campaign. I even made a homebrew subclass of their Patron: The Fabulous One. They called themselves 'The Seemly Court' 🧚🫅🧚‍♀️

One of the first NPCs I ever made for #dnd or any #ttrpg for that matter, Morek was a faerie dragon whose only purpose was to eat cheese and fuck with the player characters. Years later one of my players have me this sheet as a memento. Now he can go on to fuck with PCs in your game too 😅
