I finally pulled myself away from Minecraft long enough to start Silksong, and it was exactly what I expected. Soundtrack is excellent, ambience is incredible, gameplay a touch difficult for me. I made it through the bus boss and gave all my money to the tall map lady

I’m still plugging away on this, about an hour and a half into the painting step, but progress has slowed. I made a risky mistake in my Minecraft world and summoned the Wither and lost all my gear, gonna need a few days to emotionally reset before picking that back up, and the art is suffering too

Working on something big. Spent over 3 hours on it, approximately 25 layers and I’m still sketching. Hopefully it’ll be ready tomorrow

I’m feeling really good looking back on all my own art. In my head I still feel like a novice artist, but it’s really been over 2.5 years. I’ve gone through so much, and my art has shifted so much over time. Wanted to show off one more piece, a redraw of my first piece after committing to art

One more repost, this is the longest I ever spent on a piece. This took over 14 hours, mostly spent layering dark blues for the water. I spent 10 hours working on it one Saturday, and then a few hours finishing up the bottom the next day
