doing hackerman stuff... wrote a bash script that uses nmap to scan my network to find my phone. it then uses the IP to connect it to an adb (Android Debug Bridge) server then run scrcpy to mirror the screen so I can control it remotely. I was jealous of of my mac having friends this feature.

I finally installed Linux (Debian 13) on my main desktop. It was such a painless transition, I should have done this forever ago.

I had a day. locked my keys in my car, messed up my fingers trying to get them out, stepped in gum, skipped my break because I spent nearly an hour unsuccessfully trying to get them, then somebody rammed me in the drive through (no damage) but still. If you put a glow stick in the microwave it glows REALLY bright. Then it pops and sprays bitter glowing liquid everywhere.

spent most of the day trying to figure out how to make FluidX3D work under Linux with x11. Not doing anything serious with it, its just the curiosity of the week.

I like that a lot of people have been inspired to give Linux a shot thanks to James Lee's video. I've always liked Linux because it isn't trying to be the whole experience, its just the stage.
