It's been a long week... and Monday was a holiday.

It's not perfect... but my Jeep, she is now clean. Well... cleaner. Inside and out. And I am whipped.

Long weekend. Finally. I am outta this place...

The muse is just NOT letting this idea go. A sort of Bond/Good Omens crossover... our way of dealing with the final ep. As much as I am trying to fight it, looks like I am going to have to write it. Hopefully we can keep it to under 5k words.

I've watched the final ep three times now. And a thought occurred to me... Will pop it into a reply with the hopes it doesn't accidentally spoil anyone who hasn't watched yet.

Messaged my family doctor regarding the Xray on my knee. His response: came back clear. No arthritis or anything. Me: so please tell me why I damn near fall over when I stand, or why if fucking shoots pain all through my knee when I stand. I am so over doctors.

Well, I both liked and disliked the final Good Omens ep. I need to watch it again, then go read some good fix-it fics.

The dad called. Looks like it is an easy fix, and will only cost a little over $200. They did note that her shocks are a little rough... but that's a job for another day. One I plan for... *relieved sigh*

My Jeep's decided to be a tough girl. Something's going on with her muffler, I think. Dad's going to bring her in for me tomorrow - less chance of him being taken advantage of. So I get to drive the Journey into work tomorrow. And, of course, it's because she's paid off and her warranty is done.

How sad is it that I am excited about an email telling me the compression wrap I ordered is on its way. Compression socks are not helping my leg, so the doc suggested the wrap... even though he won't commit to what the fuck is actually wrong with my leg. *sigh*

So glad I remembered to add a few more soundtracks to the USB in the office stereo. *note to self: get the rest of the Alien soundtracks on here, too
