"Merry Christmas-a! Can you believe 2024 is almost-a over? That, and a certain new system is around the corner! When-a? I can't-a say due to contracts!" He chuckles.

He looks left. Then looks right. "Haven't-a seen Bowser in awhile. Good-a. Maybe he's busy buying presents for Jr." Then. He had an epiphany... didn't Bowser try to one time dress up as Santa and steal presents? ... Uh oh. "...Maybe I should-a be on the lookout-a."

"You know, almost everyone I know thinks I would-a be a Fire type Pokémon trainer, no clue way, but--" He has a clue. He's just playing dumb. "--I think I'd-a rock a nice team of Grass types! Or maybe Electric..."

"Christmas is right around the corner! What should I gift everyone... Well, I already have one planned for Luigi!"

"I sure have! I can write multiple books-a with how many places I've gone to over the years!" He's not a good writer though, he'd just leave that to his brother.

The man took a seat on the empty chair next to Courage and taking a sip of his own cider. It was heaven! "Phew, just what I needed-a!" He said happily before taking a bit of the dumpling. It felt as if the food and drink warmed him up even faster than the heat from the fireplace.

"Wowie, those look-a good!" He compliments the chef, taking one of the beverages and a dumpling. He looks at the empty chair afterwards. "May I?"

Now was the time the plumber took off his scarf and gloves, placing them near the fire while also rubbing his hands together once more. "Ah... much-a better..." He lets out a sigh of relief, patiently waiting for the dog to return with warm food and drinks.

"Hmm... Hey! I hope you don't-a mind me setting up the fire place!" He says, raising his voice before lifting his right hand and snapping his fingers. A small flame emerged in the palm of his hand before setting it gently on the wood, lighting it up. "There we go, all set-a!"

While he didn't take off his gloves or scarf, he at least fixed them up a tad. "It really does remind me of Twilight Town..." He says to himself, eyeing up the entire home.

"Good-a Morning!"

"Lead-a the way in!" He said with a smile, taking one last look at the building from the outside before being invited in. It looked somewhat beat up... Maybe, just maybe he could help fix it up a bit...? At least, once he's warmed up that is.

"Oh! Spiced Apple Cider is great-a! It's one of my go-to's actually!" What a silly guy! Mario was sure that if he met any Yoshi, he'd become friends with them! Or even Poochie!... Actually, on second thought, he wasn't sure about that one.

"Can't-a have winter without a nice cup of Hot Cocoa!" Those chicken dumplings sound good too... He doesn't even remember the last time he had one! "Place doesn't-a look too shabby either!"

Yep, maybe definitely don't ask about that. Especially with that reaction. He wasn't one to pry. "Well, I'm-a glad to just get out of this extreme weather! Got any food and drinks-a for the wintery occasion?" The man smiles, hoping to steer the conversation elsewhere.

Picking up his own pace to catch up, he looks at the dog with a raised brow. "20 years ago? I guess a lot of stuff happened huh?" He was somewhat curious, but wasn't sure if he should ask or not.

"Well, since that-a pipe I came through isn't far from here, you could-a technically visit my home any time you'd like! Turning his attention forward after Courage's exclamation, he narrowed his eyes a bit to focus. "Wow! Looks cozy!"

"'Nowhere' huh? I know a couple others who are also from a place that-a shares the name!" He chuckles at the coincidence, looking at his surroundings as he continues the conversation. "Summer isn't-a too bad back home, neither is Winter. It-a depends on the place, really."

"Haha, Hey-a, Mega! Been awhile hasn't it-a? What... since the last Smash tourney?" The plumber smiles, feeling welcomed by his friend of nearly 4 decades!

As he followed the little dude, he rubbed his hands together again before Courage introduced himself. "Ah, I guess I'm-a rude too. The name's-a Mario! Pleasure to meet you, little guy!"

"Aren't you a kind, fella! I'll take your offer then-a!" The plumber says, adjusting his scarf again. "I don't know how much longer I can go on without just gloves and a scarf..."

"I uh... think-a even that's an understatement haha!" He smiles. "You seem to be taking it better than I am!"

"Wowie! Hello, you two! I haven't-a seen you in quite a while!"

"Hello, World-a-- WOW it's-a cold...!!" He says, rubbing his hands together to generate heat before adjusting his scarf.
