I was searching the artist alley at Anime North for a new coin purse to hold my Canadian coins.

Bad experiences (mostly on social media) have taught me not to be kind, that using a passive voice is wrong. But recent good experiences (mostly meeting people IRL at Vocaloid events and anime conventions) have brightened my outlook again. Maybe I can risk being kind once more.

Feels nice to see that I've grown as an artist. I had some art planned for Miku Day but I've been busy until today. I figure I'm not gonna make it in time, I need at least a few days. But in just a few hours today, I already sketched, linearted, and base colored my drawing.

In an effort to draw more regularly, I bought sketchbooks that I started taking everywhere so I'm not bound to my desktop. I switched to digital a long time ago because I didn't want to waste paper, but ykw, that's the whole point of sketching: to use up the sketchbook.

この数月間、絵を描くのやる気が出なかったし、仕事も忙しくなったし、「まぁ、しばらく描くことを休もう。。。」っと思った。今年は活動を再開してように頑張ります。 Haven't been able to find the motivation to draw in the past few months, plus work got busy so I more or less decided I was in vacay mode. Hopefully I can get back to drawing regularly this year.

The ribbon is blending with the pants and isn't attached to the bikini slip at all. A legit artist does not make simple mistakes like these, even beginners don't. Looks to be that they trace over AI and present is as their own work. This is extremely disappointing..
