June 27, 2023. The day we brought her home from the hospital after a 3 day stay. She couldnât breathe or walk. We thought weâd lose her. They worked a miracle and got her back home. Thatâs our daughter hugging her while we all cried tears of joy. This has been pinned over there since that day đžâ¤ď¸

Because our daughter begged me to find out, I called the vet hospital tonight asking her status. The woman pulled my number and said âOh! Youâre Savaâs humans! How is she??â Omg. â¤ď¸ That was 3+ years ago. She told me where the pup has been transferred. A shelter here.

This gal was found wandering near our neighborhood yesterday. She was taken to our local vet hospital. No collar, no chip. As of this morning no one has claimed her. Now my wife wants me to keep her updated. She is an adorable pup! đžâ¤ď¸

9 years ago yesterday. My brotherâs late teammate. Chief Special Warfare Operator William "Ryan" Owens was laid to rest yesterday in Arlington. Over 200 guys from the command in full dress uniform formed a line, and one by one removed their Trident and punched it into his casket. âď¸đ

(Pics not taken by me) 8 years ago when a guy I served with was assistant to SecNav, they toured the George H. W. Bush (CVN-77). We did some work with carriers (mostly plane guard during their ramp ups for deployment), but I was never on one. The sheer size & scope still amazes me to this day.

We watched this tonight. Chills, goosebumps, tears. Itâs incredible. I realize that tomorrow wonât be a bunch of college guys âjust trying to play a little more hockey,â but theyâre still playing for the name on the front which is a hell of a lot more important than than the name on the back!
