I was invited to speak at Mastercard‘s corporate office for Pride. It was a really magical moment having conversations about redistributive justice and decolonizing Queer advocacy with people in the financial sector.

We’re diving into Orientalism by Edward Said with the Decolonial Dialogues bookclub at @readabookstl! We’ll cover the first 100 pages on June 4th: reading is encouraged but not required. Come curious, leave empowered, and lets decolonize together!!

It’s been a long week and I’m learning new skills and getting new insights by doing some adhoc roof work. St. Louis, I love you and we’ll get through this together!

The rain is coming in, and potential 2nd tornadoes across the state. Many people have not evacuated their houses to protect valuables but many of their homes are missing roofs, walls and windows. Help is needed immediately to ensure we can attempt to ameliorate conditions amidst potential storms.

It was an honor to be invited by the Jesuits at St. Louis University to attend the Guardian Angel Settlement Association Gala. It was a beautiful event for an organization that has been supporting under-resourced community members in St. Louis since 1859! Love loving my city.

Losing someone we love is heartbreaking, and it’s natural to want to honor their memory in a meaningful way. But releasing balloons, though well-intentioned, can cause real harm to the very world our loved ones cherished.

It’s Trans Day of Visibility, and my non-binary ass has spent the entire day at the state capitol, listening to a barrage of fascist rhetoric and testifying against bills that would strip trans people of the right to change their gender markers.
