We celebrated all 4 of our values at our final assembly of the session! We looked back over the year to remember all our many achievements and experiences that consistently showcase our values!

P3 did a brilliant job presenting their learning all about Dinosaurs. A big thank you to parents/carers who came along and joined in with our dinosaur activities!

With sports day fast approaching, P3/2 have been brushing up on their throwing, catching and coordination skills in PE!🏅🏃‍♀️

P5/4 enjoyed welcoming the Commonwealth game baton today 🏅

P5/4 have been working hard in gym preparing for Sports Day 🏅

P3 are really enjoying learning about Dinosaurs. We used clay to make dinosaur fossils and pretended to be palaeontologists!

Congratulations to our P7 boys who won the Rosshall learning community football tournament. We are also very proud of our girls team who were runners up 🏆 ⚽️ 🥹

P5/4 did a fantastic job presenting at assembly today about how to play fairly 🌟

Incredibly proud of P2/1 and their show stopping performance ‘Cardonald Pirate School’. The boys and girls worked so hard rehearsing and I’m sure you’ll agree that their efforts paid off!

P1 voted for the book they wanted at home time. They chose the non-fiction one. Article 13- children have the right to express their thoughts opinions.

P2/1 chose to spend time in our school ‘Zen Zone’ today as a treat for their ‘best class of the week’ win at assembly last week. RRS- We have a right to relax and play! - Article 31.

p1 have been learning about looking after our world. We were so proud of one of our learners at assembly this morning when she showed off the amazing dragon she had made at home from recycled materials! Article 29 — education should help children learn respect for the natural environment.🌏🐲

🌱🌺P3 have been very excited watching their seeds grow into a plant! Now, it is time to take them home to repot or plant in the garden and wait for the flowers to bloom.🌱🌺

P1 had a very interesting talk from the police today. They learned all about the work our police officers do to keep us safe. 🚔🚓👮‍♂️👮‍♀️

P2/1 made the most of the Spring sunshine by taking P.E. outdoors. We’ve also been making props for our ‘Pirates’ assembly.

P3 used oil pastels to create these fantastic Dinosaur Silhouette pictures. We learned how to blend colours and practised our cutting skills. ✂️ Great work P3! 👏🏻

P1 were demonstrating the school value of cooperation by working in pairs to learn about measure. They measured lines in footsteps.👣

P3 have been learning about what plants need to grow, the parts of a plant and seed germination. We were very excited to plant our own seed. We can’t wait to watch it grow! 🌱💧☀️🌺
