My sister & I went to Costco to get my RTD protein drinks. They had watermelons for sale. It's probably the last of the season. I told my sister to take a chance & select a good one. She did & we got a good one. Atlas loves watermelon & he's very happy we got this one. He's munching away.

Its not even 2100 hrs & I am barely hanging on to wakefulness. Just waiting for my evening pain meds so I can sleep fitfully. I did walk a tiny bit today but dragged my leg I cant feel. Doc told me to have my sis bring me my rx migraine & a red bull. The RB is part of my pain control. She did.

My hospital room neighbor is enjoying Sunday Night Football & his doing loud play by play for the entire floor. I think he's watching the Cowboys & when things go wrong the sovereign being cries. He keep shouting out "we have achieved penetration! We have achieved penetration!" Which is odd

Dinner is served and its fairly moist. After not being able to eat my previous meals because they were so dry, I think I'll be able to finish this. I hope. My hospital room neighbor came over to tell me he's a sovereign being not a sovereign citizen. He told DHS/ICE that he's not a US Citizen etc

It's my sweet boy Pallas' birthday today. He turns 4 yo. He still believes that he is a baby kitty. He requires that I pick him up and carry him on my hip because "he's just a baby". A 16lbs baby.

My hospital dinner tonight- A very very dry chicken breast. Some very very dry unseasoned green peas. And noodles that are sp dry their trying to steal my water. I will try to eat it. They just refilled my 38oz water cup.

IV back in Pain meds on board after nurse realized that the tylenol was cutting pain for major back surgery. Isnt there a song by the weekend called I cant feel my leg? Cause I cant feel my left leg and I had a full on Panic Attack as a result. Yay! good adulting. St mary UCSF hosp does suck thou

Back surgery postponed for idiotic reason. Surgeon made special accommodations for me & will operate on Friday though he usually doesn't. All that means I've gotta spend additional time w/ my sister & her traveling mess. Trying not to kill her. Best part, I'm out if my pre-surgery pain meds. Yay!
