This year I flipped my Kepler unit and taught it Kepler law 321 instead of Kepler law 123. My average quiz grade went up a point and my habitable zone performance task was so much better this year (less students confused). Going into winter break with this huge win!

I just survived a week of taking 11 students backpacking in the Yosemite wilderness. They covered 18 miles total, 12 of them carrying 35ish lbs. I’m gonna go have a beer now.

I’ve been killing it professionally. My dept VP thinks I should be dept lead. Principal says we’ll see. Current dept lead is telling people “I’m stealing her job” So my plan is have a meeting with the principal this week and see what’s holding him back. Wish me luck everyone!
