I've always had the impression that TPC considers Yu-Gi-Oh! to be a lesser IP, but I hope they'll do a Charizard/Blue-Eyes White Dragon and similar collaborations someday.

hot take: I think $20/ea for Fire Red/Leaf Green is a fair price, based on how much people are willing to pay for the GBA cartridges, or any old Pokemon games really. This, plus they're better than the $60-70 Pokemon games that currently exist on the Switch/Switch 2 ecosystem.

it really felt like the online influencers were ready to pounce on Switch 2 hardware flaws at launch but from what I’m playing and seeing with port comparisons, the Switch 2 is kind of a powerhouse for what it is? think there’s a reason why the outrage posts have largely stopped

most prestige television doesn’t hold up upon multiple close viewings, I feel, but Twin Peaks continues to capture the imagination. for some reason I’ve never been able to let go. there’s so much richness and emotional resonance.
