Nearly crashed the car when I came across this scene. I saw mist over the Chew Valley near Bristol, and drove right into it, rounding a bend to find this scene in front of me!

One of my favourite moments with a camera this year, from the hills above Bruton in Somerset. On my way up I had noticed the interesting lines of crops in an adjacent field. I hurtled back down when I caught sight of two deer wandering across it - just as golden mist swept over the top

A friend just reminded me of one of the lovely traditions that #Iceland has - lighting up the graveyards in the winter to remember & celebrate the dead. There is so much darkness there in mid-winter, so it's wonderful when you see these lovely lights. Hnífsdalur, Westfjords, Dec 2020.
