Have wanted to go to the Enchanted Forest for a while now and finally made it. Was a nice experience, cool lights, well organised, kids absolutely loved it.

On the topic of camping, second time I have been dissapointed by trendy and expensive "premium" tents. MSR Hubba Hubba first and now the Durston X-Mid Pro 2 have both held up very poorly when its even just a bit windy. My cheap Vango Banshee 200 in comparison fares much better.

Took the little ones for their first Munro and their first summit camp. Love Beinn na Lap, small walk from the highest train station in the UK, made famous by trainspotting, no public access for cars. They did amazing and loved it, core memory type stuff, especially for me.

Day 4 of Italy Very nice trip to Pompeii with their cousins, no surprises that the highlight was probably the wild kittens trying to steal our lunch

But new phone means new apps, looking for recommendations: 1. Some form of productivity / notes app combined, that I can give tasks and an optional deadline. 2. A combined Bluesky and Mastodon client Has to be web based, I avoid using native only apps as much as possible

So I had to buy a replacement phone and its funny how excited I am to have bought the 2020 Pixel 5, it feels like the pinnacle of phone design. Everything after got bigger and unwieldy.

Biffy Clyro at TRNSMT Been 18 years ago since I shot a Biffy show in OH! bar in Camden (like 100 capacity). Such a good headline act, amazing show.
