20 years ago I wouldn’t ever expect to see my first Snowdrop until late January in Norfolk @charliejgardner.bsky.social before today the earliest I’ve seen them was December 30th

Seeing it’s officially Winter I decided it’s time to check the Owl box & actually a bit sad to see that the Hornets 🐝 have gone ☹️but hopefully lots of Queens are hibernating & they’ll be back next year 😍

Muntjac 🤬Non native 🦌destroying our Wildflowers & 🌳breed all year +no natural predators. King’s Lynn where herds freely roam eating everything. There needs to be policy to eradicate them like the Coypu removal in the 1980’s
