Break habits! Start the day by thinking "may you be happy, healthy, peaceful, free" ...Aiming that intention towards all beings equally, including yourself. Whatever is happening in the world is happening. You have a choice of how your inner world looks.

It's a weird juxtaposition to feel deeply happy and content while at the same time watching a bunch of morons destroy Democracy. Odd to be fully aware of changes happening around me, not only to political structures but also the environment, but in the day to day still smiling at everyone I meet.

The path to awakening is not a journey to some far-off destination but a continual unfolding of the awakening in the here and now. As we engage with the Dharma, we come to see that our practice is not merely a means to an end but the very manifestation of the awakening we seek 🙏
