✨New Painting✨ ‘Bats and Brugmansia’ 14”x18”, acrylic on wood panel, 2025 This painting is part of my current painting series about poisonous plants. ‘Bats and Brugmansia’ is about the shape-shifting effects of the Angel Trumpet plant (aka Brugmansia) and its influence on pollinators.

‘Nepenthes’ 16x20”,acrylic on canvas, 2023 The Nepenthes pitcher plant and the whooly bat have a symbiotic relationship. The bat fertilizes the plant with its droppings in exchange for a safe place to hide away.
