Why do I feel like this strike on Iran is not going to have a happy ending? The "Peace" president is proving we have military power but so far the only result has been a few leader's demise and lots of civilian casulties. The mullahs still rule and 1000's of deaths later they still are in charge.

Is anybody else a bit worried about Trump sending a hospital ship to Greenland for no apparent reason at all? There is no health crisis there and they have first rate free medical care. Delusions? Some nefarious plan involving casualties. Confusion of an addled mind. I haven't a clue about this.

I guess we've learned the truth about some 2nd Amendment people: their opinion on whether you have the right depends on the politics of the person carrying. Not actually much of a surprise.

The solution to Trump's Greenland fixation is for the EU to send a fully equipped multi-national & winterized division to Nuuk on NATO maneuvers. "Just practicing our cold weather skills for possible future confrontation with Russia". Maybe TACO boy will quickly decide the Caribbean is better idea.

I can only say "WTF" after President "Tin Star" used US forces to capture another nation's leader. Muduro is not a good guy but the world is full of people like him. Today I mourn the impending death of Southwest Airlines. With no free bags and assigned seats, they are now just another airline. The veteran and fun-filled flight attendants too will probably disappear - not professsional enough for a straight-laced commuter airline. Doubt I'll fly them again.

On Trump's ascension: our best move is to allow Trump’s administration to just be itself. Fortunately, we have no power at present and he and his sychophants will own what ever incompetent, foolish and draconian thing they do.

It's a time bomb which, if we play it right, will lay waste to his Presidency for the rest of his term. The man is an egomanical fool who has lost whatever edge he had. Without sound advisors, he's going to bumble and fumble virtually everything. People will get hurt but we'll survive.

Let the man flounder and fail at home and aboard. The quiet will kill him. Let Trump be Trump is our best weapon. How long will it be before Musk, Kennedy, Gabbard or Hegseth shoots their mouth off at the wrong moment or blunders into a crisis?

Call him out and leave it at that. By the end of next summer, we'll have plenty of material to roast him and the rest of his foolish billionaires, crackpots and fools. Not a thing we can do about it now and it just allows him to claim persecution and gives him targets.

We all need to be prepared for the Trump adjacent (Musk, Miller, etc.) as well as the man himself. It's hard but I highly recommend we just sit back and watch the inferno, the incompetence, the sycophants and brain-dead without expending a lot energy now. That's what he wants. Don't give it to him.

Of all the things I am not looking forward to in the incoming administration, more of Stephen "I am the living dead" Miller is one of the things I'm not looking forward to the most.

Corrupt is Donald Trump's middle name. I am still stunned that many voters either are so cynical about politics (Trump, again, poisoning the water for all), that the administration that brought ecomonic prosperity at unprecedented levels to the American people is regarded by many as a failure.

Trump knows that Hegseth was a poor pick and alcoholism is a personal third rail to him. Hegseth possesses neither the qualifications nor the knowledge to lead our military. Nevertheless, Trump continues to push the appointment with threats of primary challenges and Musk ads.

Today Bernie Sander's took his same old tiresome socialist rhetoric out for a spin. His word choice, of course, is a field day for GOP agitprop & tarring Democrats as "communists" as we recently learned in the election. It's not the substance, Mr. Sanders, it's the gawddamned package its in. STFU.

Can somebody please tell me what happened to Nate Silver? He and Cenk Uygur ought to get together for reunion of irrelevent has-beens.

BTW, I don't think Trump is playing 3D Chess with his appointments. He has utter distain for government and is at base a Robber Baron who wants no regulations or rules that interfere with development, political behavior or business ventures. His nominees are all fools and tools in place to do this.

Frankly, Joe should pardon his entire administration and take the performative assault on Democrats out of play. I'd also recommend a spree of National Monument designations. He already did Bear's Ears (highly recommended, BTW. That land is just magic). I'm sure there are many others.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone really doubt that Joe's pardon of Hunter was designed to prevent a show trial of his son by the Trump administration? All this hand-wringing by media and some Democrats shows foolish faith in the rule of law under Trump. Remember this is Donnie's revenge tour.

Well, folks, I have a bit different take about Trump's appointments. I am rooting for every right-wing fool in the GOP's deep bag of idiots to get appointed to a post in the new administration. He'll to get to dysfunction, incompetence & overreach faster. Let's hope he frontloads it.
