If anyone has a Steam Deck the game is "playable" at around 45-60fps. It rarely drops below 45. There are definitely more tricks we can do to get the perf better. To me even at 60 it feels not nearly as good as 120. My LED Steamdeck is locked at 60. Any other #unrealengine5 devs targeting steamdeck?

Why don't you pick on someone your own size!? Using "Cloud Step" in combat -- If you were following, I originally just added place-able platforms. Then i turned it into a cloud that gets cast a spell. Now I am using it in a combat! Slide back a few posts to see the progression. #gamedev #gameplay

Yeah, I dig the clouds! I turned "cloud step" into a spell that costs mana but has an instant cast. One thing different from levitation is that cloud step allows for standing which resets the double-jump counter.

Concepting an idea.... "MegaMan Platforms" I think they would look cooler as little clouds instead? I really haven't worked on platforming design enough, but with Vivi's abilities there's a lot to play with. #gamedev #indiedev #bts #gameplayconcepts

I've been playing with a VFX called "After Image". Basically you draw particles onto a mesh and you can set its lifetime and animate the color over that time creating this effect. I think it looks cool but is also a bit distracting. #gamedev #testing #workinprogress

Playing around with some new magic ideas... this fireball launches straight for 1/2 a second then seeks the nearest npc in its radius. It's pretty expensive and doesn't do a ton of damage but it always hits... what if it were a stun or a freeze instead, just to get away from some hard fight?
