2y ago, I switched fully to Linux, along with CLI/TUI workflows. Using Windows was foolish of me for 10y, especially since Linux has become a decent desktop. Also Microsoft without realizing it, accelerated the migration for developers thanks to the popularization of LSPs and cross-platform apps.

I tested several LLMs, including Copilot, ChatGPT, Mistral, DeepSeek, etc, to generate a HCL parser using combinators. The clear winner was Claude Sonnet 4! It wasn't an easy task, and pretty surprised that Claude was able to handle it almost perfectly.
