One dream featuere, that would solve a ton of problems for me, would be browsers exposing their node capture feature to js. Or View Transition API Snapshots to be captured with JS manually. Tools like Code Screenshots or libraries like snapDOM would become to much more reliable.

OSS has a financing problem. We have known this for a long time, so the Tailwind AI drama should not come as a surprise. We ignored shady practices like ads, crippling tools for selling premium features and misusing open source as marketing. So Instead of blaming AI, can we fix the original issue?

I am actually quite surprised when I see a <prefix-button> component in an design system. Yes, I get it, if they come with a specialized functionality like copy/paste. But for normal buttons a Stylesheet and some props/classes should be the base.
