Good morning! During Millers rookie year I got to watch one of his early starts when the M’s played in Detroit. My buddy and I kept yelling “It’s Miller time!” at the beginning of each inning. I also got a home run ball from Kelenic. Awesome memory and had to get a card of his. #cardsky

Made it back home from travel. Posting the last card I got while visiting family in Spokane. Cougs Couged it, lost their OC to Oklahoma, fired their DC, and may lose Mateer. BUT game used patch of one of the Cougs best QBs is always cool #cardsky

Having my morning coffee and wanted to share a cool Griffey with everyone from a niche set. In 2001 when topps debuted the gold /year borders they retro’d a ton of iconic rookies, including Griffey. This is the only year the border was flashy and looks amazing in hand #cardsky

I got back into collecting in 2021, every card had turned to gold and I thought everything would gain in value. I decided to prospect the third best player in the Mariners system Noelvi Marte and thought anything color would become gold. First and last time prospecting. #cardsky

Before topps chrome platinum anniversary there were the heritage chrome /19XX based off the year the set was based on. I’ll pick up the ones of Ichiro in a Mariners jersey. I wish they went back to this format vs /999 #cardsky

Here’s one from the “To Grade” pile. 21 topps update jarred kelenic 70 years of topps insert auto /10. I got back into baseball and the hobby in 2021, Kelenic was the big M’s prospect at the time. I still want him to succeed for that reason #cardsky

One thing I wish Topps did with the change to SCC was keep the wave refractors. The inserts are around 300 or so in print run (~3x odds of green /99) and the players are ~15 or so (1/2 orange /25). Hard to show design in pictures but in hand they’re awesome with the photography #cardsky
