I hate that if I draft an email on desktop and then edit on mobile (or viceversa) the font sizes are different but you can’t tell until you send it! If you read the email on desktop it looks fine but on mobile it looks ugly with all the different font sizes! Gmail, get your shit together! 😂

The best villains aren’t written just as villains, but also as people. I immediately notice when a villain is simply a portrayal of a type of person the writer dislikes. The result is one-dimensional characters with no depth. Give your villains empathy!

What are other passions you have besides writing? Or other jobs you’ve had that you’ve enjoyed? Rooms really value non-writing professional experience. It’s crazy how specific they get sometimes so definitely lean on that.

I’ve been very optimistic lately, it’s been a couple of weeks of great news & progress. But today is a low day. I’m feeling the accumulation of exhaustion & stress. Some may be struggling more than others but we’re all feeling it. I’m letting myself be a couch potato today. Tomorrow, I keep going.

Started a new pilot on the second week of January and finished it last night! This is the fastest I’ve ever written anything. Specially since I’m not a native English speaker. Somehow this pilot just flowed.

Writing on a rainy day is a whole other level of beauty.

When I shift my focus to the goodness of people, I feel stronger and more resilient. I believe. And I don’t think we can do much if we don’t believe first.

A beautiful, productive day. I’m having a blast with the new pilot I’m writing.

Last week I had a meeting that regenerated the hope I was starting to lose after such a rough year in the industry. I didn’t realize how exhausted and drained I was. I’ve always been an optimist, guided by a precious spark I can’t describe. That spark is back.

Today is my mother’s birthday. And my 11th anniversary in Los Angeles. I wrote a little bit about my journey as I realized the bravery it takes to move to another country. All my love to every immigrant out there! 🧡

My checking account was emptied with fraudulent activities. Never seen this happen with checking accounts, only credit cards. My bank and the people at my branch have been INCREDIBLE. Shout out to everyone doing their jobs with empathy. Also - calm down, 2025!
