got the program OpenToonz and wanna learn how to use it when i have the chance, but on a surface level it seems like a powerful program.

i never wanted to talk too heavily about politics, this is for my music mainly, but why can't everyone see that DT is a puppet and a scapegoat for other politicians? i see endless posts blaming only him, when i think there's more at play, but to many there's always gotta be one central villain...

trying to mix my music to be louder without going above 0dB (at least on the master) through increasing the LUFS. it's certainly a trip.. but it will be worth it once i've harnessed that power.

i'm debating on releasing stuff from the scrapped album. i wanted to make public a single i made in Nov 2024, which i later tied to the album, but since its conception i improved upon it greatly, but the other version has a weird ending when not paired with the rest of the album it came from. I'm not sure if I would consider myself to be in an emotional slum, but I've found it difficult to work on my project. I don't have the same inspiration or drive that I did during those first six months or so of production, and I've grown weary of what I've produced thus far.

I made a Krita file large enough where it cannot be opened without the program crashing, something I was never aware could happen, making me restart everything I worked on. I was concerned about someone pulling a prank on me today, since it is April 1, but in reality I pranked myself. I'm the fool.

I'm currently aiming to have all of the music for my album done by next year, then I'll spend 2026 working on the artwork and other things to get it all ready for release. Which may mean I have to refrain from sharing my completed work until 2027. Which will be a task and a half for certain.

Just now took my old music off of Spotify and everywhere else Distrokid publishes music to, not because of anything Distrokid did, but solely due to the nature of the system itself. Publishing on all of those platforms did me no good. Bandcamp all the way!

i'm so excited to share this project in full with the world, it is unreal. however, i will release it only when i feel it is 110.3% ready.

i've opted to redo at least a good few of the tracks that i felt didn't work before. it's disheartening having to do so, but it'll make way for bigger and better things. ...is this what they mean when they call a project "development hell"?

holy fuq i've realized that so many of the songs i'm working on are off-beat 😭 i thought it was only one or two at first but nah it's literally all of them 😔 and that's why i'm taking my time on this album, so i can notice silly stuff like that

realized recently that the ableton metronome is actually *very* useful, and i don't know why i haven't used it sooner

i'm aiming to have my debut album released at the start of next year, so i aim to have the music done by October and dedicate the rest of the year to making the art and getting everything else sorted out. if i have to delay it by an additional year though, i will.
