I'm a big fan of shoebill storks. They're freaking dinosaurs — even more so than most birds already are! Ever hear what one sounds like? They're so cool! Here is one made by my friend Brother Owl, done in a really nice fiery orange amazonite. I absolutely love the warm colors!

With the Year of the Dragon coming up soon in 2024, my friend Wang Jin has been working on several different dragon designs to practice up in time for the celebrations! 🐉
