A film colleague of mine stopped talking to me because I said I’d invest $1000 into his next film, and he wanted me to invest in a scene for a crowdfunding pitch, and that isn’t what I signed up for. He still hasn’t made the film. Was I wrong?

I remember when a bunch of filmmakers and writers attacked me on Twitter because I had a falling out with a writer who read my script and said it was boring. They unfollowed me, blocked me and attacked me. I’ll never forget how awful I felt, and I’ll never forgive those people.

Writing and filmmaking are the best things I can do with my life. To educate and entertain while hopefully inspiring others? I have to just keep going. Can’t give up now.
