Finally got the end of June 2026 short position reports. For #$PCT the short position increased by almost 6 MILLION shares in the second half of the month. This is far in excess of the hedging needed for the convertible debt refinancing and would explain the large drop in share price.

A very nice #$ASTS chart with important news events in the past 9 months. They say that the chart helps tell the story but in this case I think the chart is NOT reflecting the business reality which is a steady stream of progress on super critical items like FCC approval and success launching Block2

We have seen Brazil putting in place policies to enable direct to device services. #$ASTS is most likely working with 4 regional MNO's who recently won the rights to a 20 Mhz block of 700 Mhz spectrum. The government wants to increase competition and also expand coverage in remote areas.

If you were just watching the share price you might think something was wrong. The massive drop in #$ASTS was not a direct result of anything wrong with the business or any fundamental analysis. It was the result of large hedging flows related to #$SPCX. Should be fun to watch the covering.
