I think it has become abundantly clear that passive investing has led to some very stupid mis-allocation of capital. The intrinsic value of company (the ability to generate free cash flow as a result of offering profitable goods and/or services) no longer really matters vs just joining the S&P 500.

The talk of SpaceX having an IPO valuation of $1.5T (100x revenue) is ridiculous. Dumb retail might actually pay that but the smart retail investors have been in $ASTS since the single digits. If Starlink is 70-80% of the value than $ASTS is easily worth $200B and likely far more.

I closed my small short position in $ADUR a little while back but this filing from Dec 9th is why the company is paying people to hype the stock on Xitter.
