Yesterday was my day off, so I spent about five or six hours drawing manga, but my neck got really sore. Seven years ago, I used to draw manga for about eight hours on my days off and never had that problem. I feel old.

Both the JUNK HEAD brochure and the JUNK WORLD brochure are exceptionally lavish, so you should definitely get hold of them if you get the chance.

I am making an effort to watch more weird movies. I am currebtly watching "Junkhead" its free on tubi and awesome?!?! Stop motion animation!!!

I just put together a decent number of manga storyboards for the first time in years. I wish I could hole up in some hot spring inn for a few months and live a life of nothing but drawing manga.

If the Blu-ray of The Immortal Bloodline is released in the United States, I hope they include the storyboards and script in their entirety, just like they did with Mamo.

Me: All five LUPIN THE IIIRD films are being re-released in Shibuya, but I've had a lot of expenses lately, so I don't think I can go. Bank: Your fixed-term deposit has matured, so we have deposited 500,000 yen into your account. Me: I'm going to Tokyo!

I was able to purchase tickets for the "Zenigata and the Two Lupins" talk show and the "The Immortal Bloodline" talk show (afternoon session). Photography and recording are prohibited during the talk shows, so I will do my best to take notes.

When I went to Tokyo, I bought some famous hard ice cream at the Shinkansen platform. But by the time I got on the Shinkansen, it had melted and turned into normal ice cream. What a terrible heat wave.

Tickets for the talk show about Zenigata and the Two Lupins, which will be held in Tokyo, go on sale today at 6 PM. It’s first come, first served. I was originally scheduled to work this evening, but I took a few hours off just so I could try for tickets. Wish me luck, everyone.

I went to the movie bar and talked with the owner about Lupin (he is a Lupin fan). We got really excited talking about how Island of Assassins stands out among the TV specials, with both its animation drawing and script being exceptionally high in quality, almost abnormally so.

There will be a talk show by Kurita and Kataoka at Mitsukoshi, and the second exhibition will be held this winter. How many times do I have to go to Tokyo?

I always think, "Instead of selling unusually expensive paintings and statues, they should release storyboard collections and key frames art books," but one reason they prioritize merchandise over art books may be because merchandise doesn't have to worry about being scanned and illegally uploaded.

The key frames for Zenigata and the Two Lupins was superb. It's a shame that photography was prohibited and I can't share it with everyone. I hope that as much of it as possible will be included in the booklet when the Blu-ray is released. Especially the key frames of Fake Lupin.

I have applied for paid leave on the 7th and 15th. I intend to exercise my rights as a worker. Tokyo is far away, but I have received insurance money for hospitalisation and surgery, so travel expenses are not a problem. The issue is whether I can get tickets for each day.
