To clarify on Riftbound: I GENUINELY knew NOTHING of how to play this game when I registered for the LTP. I was literally the perfect test case and I still feel no confidence about knowing how to play. Even if the game is good, this is a failure of a tutorial.

After an hour, if you asked me: “Do you know how to play Riftbound?” I would say “No”. Still don’t know where battlefields come from or how to play a simple two-player game.
