I took this picture of Tigers great Mickey Lolich before the last game at Tiger Stadium. I lucked into a seat about 15 rows behind home plate, and the former players who were there were in the rows behind that. Mickey was very friendly, chatting with the fans and signing autographs. RIP, Mickey.

It looks like an Astros uniform with all that orange. It’s fine to have it in the video game, but I’d rather they just stick to the traditional whites for the home uniform. It’s a good idea, though, to have more orange clothing options for fans to buy. There hasn’t been much available.

I got a glimpse of ANA’s C-3PO plane last month at Haneda Airport in Tokyo while I was on the shuttle between terminals. It was dark and I wasn’t expecting to see it because I knew the livery was being retired, so I didn’t get a good picture of it.

That sucks that the Rose Bowl bands didn’t get to march their halftime shows because the field is supposedly wet, though the players don’t seem to be muddy. Yes, marching bands can tear up a wet field, but 15 minutes of having 500 or so normal-sized people corps-style march on the turf should be OK.

Maybe players/teams shouldn’t be doing the Trump dance if they want to keep doing well. The Tigers did it a bunch during the 9/11 game at the Yankees with Trump there. This was after they had pummeled NYY the previous two games. They lost that game and only won three more in the regular season.
