With my focus on using my PlayStation VR more this year (got an active Skyrim VR playthrough started now), figured I'd show my current PSVR collection. What games would you add to this pile?

Magic Monday: Squee The Immortal! New year, new Squee post! My absolute favourite deck, as it cares about one thing; killing Squee infinitely. That's right, deck wins by killing the Commander, over and over again! moxfield.com/decks/4z4-YU...

Last year I had the goal to play more VR games...Whoops, I kind of neglected my PS4 all year... So that goal starts this year! Just setting this damn thing up is a mess of wires, but it is still the only VR headset that is both affordable, and actually has physical games for it!

What's everyone playing during the weekend? I plan to do 2 things this year. First, use my PS4 more. Second, replay most of the Castlevanias. Good thing there's Castlevania collections like this on the system! First Castlevania done, and currently running through Simon's Quest!

Top 4 Friday: Fighting Games! Obviously the arcade originals are superior to these console ports, but hard to take a nice picture with the cabinets like this. Also, yes, Super is the best version of the original Street Fighter II, fight me.

The worst part about DOOMguy being a Mii Gunner costume in Smash is that he was so close to getting a full character slot. If he was on the main roster, he'd have a proper amiibo be now. This is my honourary DOOMguy amiibo.

Doing some reorganizing behind the scenes, and when did I get so many Amiibos?! Over 120 opened ones so far, I had no idea! I also have a bunch in stock for sale as well, so if you're after Amiibos, shoot me a message and I'll see what I have for ya.

This little dude is gonna break a lot of games, in a lot of different formats. Can't way to buy like 10 copies when Lorwyn Eclipsed comes out in a few weeks.

For the past decade, I've been a huge fan of New Japan Pro Wrestling, and that has been because of Hiroshi Tanahashi. "The Ace" has been the most consistent force in the company for 25 years, and as of today, he retires from in-ring competition. He is an absolute legend.

First weekend of the new year, so how are you relaxing? I'm keeping the N64 vibes going from my NYE marathon, and have been working through replaying these classics to start the year off on the right foot.

Top 4 Friday: Upcoming Games In 2026! What games are you looking forward to the most that are due out this year? Styx is finally getting a new game, Fatal Frame II is my favourite horror game, Bloodstained is the true Castlevania king, and a sequel to Episode 1: Racer?! Amazing!

New month (new year!), new pick-ups post! December was more busy selling than buying obviously, at least in terms of my collection. But Castlevania here is the BIIIG purchase, overshadowing all. It's beautiful! What goods did you gobs get last month?

Nothing better to bring in the new year than to play some N64 greats with friends. Mario Kart, Road Rash, Beetle Adventure, Irritating Stick, and some homebrew games just to start. Happy New Year to all the gobs and gobettes out there. Y'all keep Game Goblin alive <3

Protip: Keep extra sleeves in a box. Any pack of 100 sleeves always has a few extra, or you just get them buying collections, so just stash them in a box. You'll never get a perfect 100 for a deck, but to sleeve tokens, Commanders, or singles? It's great to have a stash of them!

Top 4 Friday: Games Of 2025! This is it, the Golden Gob awards. Unfortunately a lot of 2025 was a letdown, from either gross price-gouging, to half-assed physicals that don't have full games on disc/cart. But thankfully, these 4 games are not only the best, but fully on disc!

Magic Monday: Top 4 Commanders Of 2025! With over 400 Commanders printed this year, there's a lot of choices for top spots. Motherfuckin Sabin has been the most direct, Ragost is the most unique, Daretti has been the most surprising, and Saheeli has been the most energetic.

When it comes to colours of your consoles and handhelds, what is your go-to choice? I do prefer to keep everything black to blend into the darkness while gaming, but for the GBA, I had a Fuschia one, so I've become attached to it as MY GBA, ya know?

Top 4 Friday: Games Of 2024! What a great collection of games here. All built with the idea of being fun first, and figuring out everything else second. Each of these are what video games should be all about, the joy of just playing the game. I feel that's becoming a lost art.

When playing Magic, how do you prefer to keep track of life totals? App? Spinner? Dice? I always have the Lifelinker app on me, as it allows profiles, and can track additional info like Infect, and Commander Damage.

Do you have any signed games? If so, from who? Years ago, I got to meet Nicholas Picholas (is that his real name?) from Video & Arcade Top 10, a gaming show I was on back in the 90's playing Re-Volt, so I HAD to get him to sign my copy. Shame the games sucks, haha.

The weekend is almost over, so what were you playing in your off time? I've started up Shadowrun on Genesis, as I've had the game for longer than I'd like to admit, but never beat it. Hoping to fix that before years end.

Just showing off my small CIB (Complete-In-Box) GBA collection today. Each game here is important for various reasons. DOOM and Duke are obvious, Balloon Fight is great, Fusion is my favourite Metroid, and Tactics is to remind me of how trash that version is. What should I add?

Top 4 Friday: Games Of 2023! Never would I expect a good RoboCop game, or for it to be one of the best games I've played. Aside from that, glad there's a GOOD Baldur's Gate game (THAC0 sucks). Mortal Kombat doesn't disappoint, and we get the best wrestling game in 20 years.

The single greatest game ever made turns 32 today. A small team of just 5 guys changed the entire landscape when they unleashed DOOM upon the world. Few games ever achieve the level of importance DOOM has in history. It truly does run on everything.

The Dreamcast's best RPG turns 25 today! While it's also available on modern platforms, those versions are unfortunately based on the much inferior PS2 version of the game. So if you're craving some grand RPG greatness, seek out this DC original copy of Grandia II!

On this day back in 1991, just a few months after the SNES came out, it got it's best game, Super Castlevania IV! I never miss a day to remind all of you of how great this game truly is. Even with the spooky season over with, why not celebrate the holidays with a good whipping!

Does anyone collect UMD Movies? Collecting for the PlayStation Portable opens up a lot of great games, but also movies! I've only got a handful here, but if I see some in the wild for movies I love, and they're like $5, I'll grab one.

I've owned a Jaguar for well over a decade now, and yet I've only bought three games for it. Alien Vs. Predator, DOOM, and Wolfenstein. Well I was QUITE surprised when I was gifted an early Xmas present of Kasumi Ninja! Of all the Mortal Kombat clones, this one is special.

Top 4 Friday: Gamea Of 2022 Not gonna lie, I get why you'd question Goat Simulator 3 being in the top spot, but trust me, it is such a fun, chaotic, beautifully broken sandbox that constantly rewards you for exploration, and being creative. After that, it's just FPS goodness!

Castlevania Legends gets a bad rap. Sure, it's a step down from it's predecessor Belmont's Revenge, but it's still better than Simon's Quest! When Legends debuted back in '97, it was also the first (and only) time we saw a female Belmont. Shame it was made non-canon later.

So what's everyone's take on Dead Space? If you love Dead Space, do you prefer the remake made by a different team, or do you prefer The Callisto Protocol, made by the original team as a reimagining? I adore Dead Space, but haven't played either games.

Oh damn, today is a good day. Considering LRG is the only supplier of the physical for this game, didn't think I'd be getting to play it this year. BUT BEHOLD! Once I'm done Expedition 33, I'm rocking this game nonstop because the demo had me HOOKED!

The Xbox 360 is now 20 years old as of today. And I'm gonna ruffle some feathers here, but this console will NEVER be retro. Why? Because I can show games from this console, and convince someone that it's a new game, because they can still look incredible!

Top 4 Friday: Games Of 2021 As much as I enjoyed Dread, Ys, and BD II, Psychonauts 2 is an absolute achievement in game design. It truly lives on a pedestal above everything else that year. Tim Schafer has made a lot of amazing games, but Psychonauts 2 is his magnum opus!

Just had Game #8 of Twilight Imperium. After only 8 hours, order has been restored. Through clever politics, and funding other armies, I peacefully put myself in a spot making it hard to cross me. So I swooped in back-to-back 3 point turns to win! All hail your galactic king!

Everyone's favourite box-shaped console turns 24 today! The GameCube is such an exceptional console, both in terms of design and hardware. It was my main console during that generation, and it never disappointed. It also has one of the comfiest controllers of any console!

With a few weeks left of the year, I've looked at my 2025 stats, and turns out I've got a few decks that don't have any losses yet. They range from 2-5 wins each, but I think it's time to push their luck until they break. Do you have decks that haven't earned you a loss yet?

Aside from all my fun new Un-cards, I also ordered one for a buddy to build a deck for. Welcome, Alexander Clamilton! He doesn't care about good spells, but ones with lots of words! Great use for terrible cards, but should make for some real fun games.

The original Xbox made it's debut 24 years ago today! While I didn't think anything of it at first, and it was the last console for that generation that I bought, in recent years I've appreciated it enough to rank it as my 3rd favourite console!
