wish i knew old norse better, ie well enough to know what something means at a glance instead of kinda having to look up every single word to figure out a sentence. so far i only know the most basic of basics. i have some of the grammar down. i understand basic sentences. hrm

one very normal thing i can't seem to find in the sims 3 is? hugging as a greeting? or even as a normal friendly interaction between adult sims? am i blind or even the sims 4 has that between close family members. it just seems like a thing that should be included, yet i can't even find mods for it

honestly a travesty that there is no gender neutral word for aunt/uncle thatt doesn't sound stupid we truly need more gender neutral language for family members. especially when so many nonbinary folks like myself don't plan on being parents, but still have siblings. aaaaa

Don't just take art advice because someone told you to do it. Take what you think is interesting, learn what seems relevant to you in the moment, and release the rest. Learning is more sustainable when you lean into what's fun (and contextually useful).

the free flow of writing comics with my ocs whom i know really well is just fun!! i like putting them in situations!! i love them so much and sometimes comic ideas just slam me in the head and won't leave me alone until i've gotten it down on paper

well here's something. i don't really thumbnail, i just kinda feel it out, roughly place my characters and the dialog before i start rendering it. yes, all in ink. ballpoint pen. probably not the best method but hey it works the thickened panel borders may show up at any point of the process.
