I just wanna say thank you to every person who sent a message, called, etc. over the last week. So much unexpected kindness through what’s been a very rough time for my family. This is the first time I’ve *faintly* felt like myself in days.

The last 5 days have aged me enough for a lifetime. Every possible emotion a human can experience has been there — and still is. But, I’m putting one foot in front of the other. That’s all I got right now, and that’s enough.

There’s entirely too many people to thank individually. So, I’ll just say thank you to every person who responded, shared the post or sent a message re: my post on my dad. Thank you all. It truly means the world as I grieve.

My dad died yesterday. I thank God I made it home in enough time from the WNBA Finals to see him, but I’m heartbroken. My heart is so heavy today. I love you, dad.
