Can’t really complain about losing to a goal like that. We looked very disjointed today, whether that’s a result of the changes or our form is hard to say. I think we’re fine going forward but far too easy to counter-attack against. That needs to be addressed over the next few games.

Made the game a bit too manic and scrappy with the way we set up today. Brau takes the blame for the equaliser but it’d been coming. We look tired and have become a little bit one-dimensional.

Would have felt a significant milestone to hit 50 points by Christmas but we remain in an incredible position. Need to win somewhere between 12-16 of the remaining 24 games to get promoted.

A relief to take a point after going down to ten men and conceding so soon after. Switching to a back three helped limit Southampton to pot-shots and crosses. Felt we could have offered more on the counter but neither Wright nor Simms seemed able to play the centre-forward role the way we needed.

HT: Felt like we were going to go into half-time regretting not being more ruthless on the final third but that goal feels deserved. Not sure we can sit on a one-goal lead with this CB pairing but encouraging stuff so far.

Not great tonight, shows how much having a solid and consistent back line has helped us at the start of this season. Woollfenden exposed badly but never really put pressure on balls into the box throughout the game.
