my (extra) advice for anyone who already does traditional art is to draw in pen more frequently if you don't already. you learn a lot about line confidence and making those permanent "mistakes." also you draw faster :)

Do figure drawing!! It really is like multi-vitamins. You can learn anatomy, gesture, flow, form, light, perspective, acting/poses all at the same time. Any time you can spare on it is worth it. Wouldn't be able to draw figures this confidently without it. Everything changes when you unlock 3D form
