The people behind the scenes matter. I've heard so many times "no one cares about THIS work I'm doing, it won't matter to them" from people I work with. It breaks my heart. Every moment of what we see, hear, and FEEL from movies or podcasts or television shows or any media we take in, all matter.

Sometimes it's important to remind myself that: some people are very hurt, I am cutting back on caffeine so I am moody, and I am also very stressed about needing to find work immediately. I'll do anything to protect my cat from the world woes though, because...priorities.

I am going to get myself out of bed, flourish a robe, make coffee, and write a screenplay.

I have a feeling SINNERS will become a curriculum requirement in study and analysis for future filmmakers. Is that enough? In my very unsolicited opinion, no. SINNERS deserved the Oscar award for Best Picture.

Michael B. Jordan played THREE characters, not two. Smoke. Stack. Vampire Stack. 🏆🙌🏽🔥

Delta Slim is a much more complex and nuanced character than the racist bigot character from OBAA. Delroy Lindo should have won. 🏆

I admit, I really was hoping to see Mark L. Patrick up for a nomination.

This movie is really good. I danced, cried, laughed, & got mad. Anyone looking for a storyline that sides on the main character being promiscuous/overtly sexual and the other main character being a Chad-type brute, will be disappointed. The nuance in this movie is really particular. Try it out.🖤
