Kirby Air Riders just had the biggest launch for a Kirby spin off in Japan, more than twice that of the GameCube original. Similar to Pikmin, Air Ride was an odd game that sold fairly well for the NGC, interesting what a game on popular hardware can do.

Total retail sales of Pokémon Legends: Z-A in Japan have surpassed 2 MILLION units. Digital sales likely put it over 3m, it should be the best selling game of the year.

Haven't been putting much attention to it, but Call of Duty continues its downward spiral in Japan with Black Ops 7 hitting rock bottom at the series lowest retail launch since COD 3, less than half of Black Ops 6.

On November 21st, a Japanese launguage only, digital only PS5 will release in Japan for 55k yen. That's a drop from the 67k yen the digital SKU currently goes for, but still more than the 44k yen it launched at. Doing the same as Nintendo to remain price competitive in Japan

Retail launch of Bamco's relaunch of Everybody's/Hot Shots Golf is off to a slow start, with the lowest launch of the series. It's not too far from the launch of the other handheld games and these games have historically good legs, I'm expecting it to do fine in the end.
