Third day in a row of remote status due to weather. Ugh. I'm so over winter right now.

Despite being very purposeful about my PD in 2024 and an effort to not use personal $. I still ended up spending $1000. Grrr. This system is broken, higher ed needs to do better.

Outdoor Ed this week was awesome!

Hey, students in my Outdoor Ed class-HPE 260-this is how we dress for class on Wednesdays! Hat, gloves, boots, winter coat. Come prepared. I do have some extra winter gear that you can borrow if needed. ❄️ 🏔 🌨 ☃️ 🎿 🏂 I can't wait for our time together this semester.

Why do people schedule meetings during the last 2 weeks of the semester? Higher ed is sucking the life out of me--one meeting at a time.

I struggle during this time of the year.The anniversary of my mom's death (it's been 5 yrs), the darkness, and the end of the semester. On a whim, we got on a plane to Seoul. Thankful for all this time outside. Nature brings me peace.

These faces bring me so much joy. Thank you for being thoughtful, caring students. You've done wonderful this semester!
