Sunday has been good. Can’t say I’m looking forward to Monday, but I’ve got a day off of Weds!

Tomorrow makes it a whole month since we moved into this house, and today I have finally put our bed frame together. Finally, I can stop sleeping on a mattress on the floor!

That’s the last day of half term done! Think I wore the kid out at soft play today, he was asking to go to bed before 6pm! Looking forward to the weekend, need to try and do some more unpacking. We’ve only lived here for a month now 😂

It’s our boys 6th birthday today 🎉🎁🎈🥳🎂 My heart nearly burst this morning when he saw the balloons and presents and said “did you do all this for me?” 🥺🥲

Finally handed back the keys to the old house today, and feel like a bit of weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Now we can concentrate on making our new house a home ❤️

Cleaning a house that you no longer live in is not the one.. If I don’t get to enjoy the cleanliness then why should I care?

Any tips on relieving trapped wind in my chest? I’ve tried tablets, stretching, massage, heat.. now having peppermint tea.

Our house has gone back up ok Rightmove for new tenants, so naturally I’m becoming obsessive about cleaning it in case we have any viewings before we move out 😂

Off to London with my boys today. Kiddo doesn’t know it yet, but we’re taking him to the Paddington experience this afternoon. We watched all 3 movies yesterday in preparation for this!

All presents wrapped and under the tree. Hubby and I have caved and opened the chocolate orange that was part of the gift from my boss 😂

Can’t get out of bed this morning. My alarm went off 45 minutes ago, and I’m still not up. Probably going to be late now, but struggling to care.

I’ve never felt less prepared for Christmas. I want to feel festive, but the house move is at the front of my mind pretty much 24/7 at the moment. I can’t wait to get into the new house, get some decs up and enjoy Christmas with my boys ❤️

Looks like we’re on the move again! Found a house we liked and applied to rent it, which has been accepted. They want us to move in before Christmas though! 😕 my day off today was going to be spent relaxing, but instead I’m sorting through crap to get rid of!

Lazy afternoon

My carbon monoxide alarm has a fault and keeps beeping every minute. Battery isn’t removable/replaceable, and I can’t stop the beeping! Even submerging it in water isn’t helping 😂😩
