So... more practicing with oil pastels. I took a charcoal drawing I had already done and added fixative. Then I played around with the oil pastel sticks. I... I.. I'm on the fence with it.

Hi all. Posting this just so I am consistent in posting stuff. This is a WIP!! Even tho I have warm tones and cool tones on the canvas, the finished painting is going to be more or less monochromatic. :)

Charcoal on textured paper. The reference for these was a self portrait photo set I did for my photography class, back in my OSU days.

Dancers have the best poses. Ballet dancer in charcoal. Was a practice sketch, so excuse the two sheets of paper taped together. Heh.

First post: finally got to a point where I can call this painting finished. Yay.
