I don’t care if people know I’ve been crying. Heck, I’ve announced having been crying on social media before. Nonetheless, I have a weird compulsion to not cry, or hide it, if in front of others. I think there are a few explainable reasons why, but I still find it weird.

If people online accuse your actual drawings of being AI, just know this: They’re the clowns. They don’t know what they’re talking about, and they’re grasping at low-hanging fruit they don’t even understand to try and talk smack.

One reason I don’t like insubstantial claims that something was made by “AI” is that actual substantial evidence of something being made by ”AI” would be interesting to me. More often it’s “thing bad, don’t know why, blame AI.” Which, to me, is the same as saying “I dunno, here’s a guess.”

Pokémon might be easy, but the type chart, every move being a finite resource, and the goal of catching monsters means I find the turn-based combat more engaging than most.

It's been a while since I've had a proper two day weekend! I'm going to go so many places and do so many—What's that about snow?

I've learned not to rush uploading a comic immediately after getting it done. One might say "but Dan, then you're DONE!" Thing is? I might not be. If there's anything to fix, it's easiest to miss right when you first think you're done. If possible, put some time before that last quality check.

The paradox of finding faster ways of doing things is you sometimes lose time experimenting while figuring out how to optimize them. Lately, it's been paying off for me, but it hasn't always 😅
