Ottawa has all the momentum now. Teat barely misses on the power play, and then Hellyer throws a great feed to Sundown on the backside. It's a three goal run for the Black Bears, and the goals are in a span of just 1:13.

In the time it took to clip and post his first goal, Corey Small scored his second. Safe to say this signing is looking good for the Seals so far.

That didn't take long. Corey Small gets his first in the purple and gold, and San Diego is up 1-0 on Ottawa.

Oshawa, in their first home game as a franchise, got an 8-7 win in an instant classic. I can't think of a better way to open the NLL season. Wire to wire plays that were gritty, physical, and exciting. It's the kind of game that makes new fans.

What if I told you that Tye Kurtz (barely visible, on ground, surrounded by Rock players) wins this loose ball? Unreal effort play to keep the ball with Oshawa, and the FireWolves will have a chance to ice the game out of a timeout.

A ridiculous sequence in Oshawa. FireWolves run in transition, Nick Rose makes an ABSURD save, Simmons scores BTB but it's waved off, English hits the post in transition, and then Kurtz scores on the other end. I'm out of breath.
